    Budget's fuel policy offers flexibility and options to cater to different travel preferences:

    Full Tank Return Policy:

    Upon vehicle pickup, the car is typically provided with a full tank of fuel.
    Customers are required to return the vehicle with the same fuel level, usually a full tank, as indicated on the factory-installed fuel gauge.
    It is recommended to refuel close to the return location and keep the receipt as proof. Failure to do so may result in charges.

    Fuel Up Front Option:

    For travelers planning to cover more than 120 kilometers, Budget offers the "Fuel Up Front" option.
    Customers pay for a full tank of fuel at the start of the rental, based on the manufacturer's stated fuel tank capacity and refueling costs.
    The vehicle can be returned with any remaining fuel, even if it is almost empty, without the need for additional charges.

    Pay on Return Option:

    Applicable for customers who do not choose the Fuel Up Front option and have driven more than 120 kilometers.
    The cost is calculated based on the factory-installed fuel gauge, rounded down to the nearest eighth of a tank.
    The charge includes the average fuel price at the end of the rental period, plus a processing fee covering the cost of refueling on short notice.

    EZ Fuel Option:

    For those traveling less than 120 kilometers and unable to refuel near the return location, Budget provides the EZ Fuel option.
    Customers pay a fixed fee, typically 17.22 EUR, to cover the cost of refueling by Budget.

    Electric Vehicles:

    Electric vehicles must be returned with at least a 70% battery charge, matching the charge at the time of pickup.
    Charges apply if the vehicle is returned with less than 70% charge, with fixed costs depending on the percentage of battery charge remaining.
